Roy and Sue Appletree Receive Humanitarian Award

Recognized for their commitment and dedication to serving Howard County students in need through Prepare for Success and it's school supply program, Roy and Sue were chosen to receive the 2019 Community Action Council's Holland Humanitarian Award.

The Holland Dinner raises critical funding for CAC, ensuring that CAC can continue to provide food assistance, housing assistance, energy assistance and early childhood education programming to thousands of families each year.


We look forward to celebrating future honorees of this award as it proves that Howard County is never short on community support.
